IPLUCY Inc. is established in 2019 by OH & HAHM, a patent law firm in Seoul, South Korea, for developing AI-based Patent Practice Tools.

OH & HAHM was founded by Mr. ByeongSeok Oh, a Korean patent attorney and CEO, in 2001 in Seoul, South Korea.

Since its foundation, OH & HAHM served various companies and inventors of many countries for domestic and foreign patent legal services including patent prosecution, monetization, licensing, etc.

After more than 7 years of research and development, OH & HAHM has successfully developed the world 1st AI patent search engine, named ipLucy, to fulfill its own necessity for quality prior arts search indispensable for quality patent services.

In 2020, IPLUCY has succeeded in developing AI-based patent-specialized translation engine.

Further, IPLUCY has also succeeded in developing AI-based patent drawings translation and processing module in 2021.

Our Story
Experienced Leadership
Mr. ByeongSeok OH
CEO, Korean Patent Attorney
Mr. Oh has cofounded the company in 2019 as a main share holder. He practices patent law since 1992 when he passed the Korean patent bar exam. Before starting his firm in 2001, he worked as an in-house patent counsel for SK Hynix Semiconductors Ltd. in mid 90s, where he actively involved in many US patent litigations and disputes in the industry. He also practiced patent law in Kim & Chang patent law firm in Seoul.
